The text below is to be regarded as non-binding for the sanctioning of any match, series, or tournament. Every sanctioning application is considered individually and requirements commensurate with the application set for the applicant.

Cricket Finland has established the following as general requirements for an event to be sanctioned:

1) All players are required to have an appropriate license (https://www.suomisport.fi)

   - For non-hard ball events this is the Softball License

   - For hardball events this is the Hobby License

2) The organiser must have a third party liability insurance policy that covers the event

3) Player and spectator safety must be ensured by presence of first aid equipment and signage notifying spectators of the matches

Events organised by Member Clubs of the Finnish Cricket Association are automatically covered by the third party liability policy of the FCA. Other organisers should find it relatively easy to obtain the required insurance cover for their event.

The event sanctioning form can be found at https://forms.office.com/e/cV1chCpzSJ
